Simplifying AI was born from a frustration most growing companies know too well.

Our founder, Prakash Chandra, was leading a technology team at a company with over 200,000 leads and 10,000 paying customers. The data was there — scattered across spreadsheets, siloed in databases. He built the pipelines to centralize it. But then came the real problem: the operations team who understood the business couldn't query a database, and the developers who could write SQL didn't understand the business questions.

Every insight required a back-and-forth — a ticket, a meeting, a wait. The people closest to the problem were the farthest from the data.

When large language models became capable enough to translate natural language into accurate database queries, the path became clear. What if anyone in a company could just ask a question and get an answer — directly from their own data, in seconds?

That question became ChatPlotDB. And the company built to pursue it became Simplifying AI.
