Install the Slack app

Connect ChatPlotDB to a Slack workspace and link your account.

Install

Use Add to Slack from settings. The OAuth install grants ChatPlotDB the scopes it needs to read the commands it is invoked with and post replies.

Installing the app connects the workspace; linking connects you. Until you link, ChatPlotDB does not know which Slack user maps to which account, so it cannot apply your permissions or bill your usage.

Link from Settings → Connect Slack, or run:

/cpdb-link

An account links to one organization at a time.

What you will receive

Once linked, ChatPlotDB can direct-message you:

  • Threshold alerts from dashboard cards
  • Card health notifications when a refresh starts failing
  • Scheduled dashboard digests you have subscribed to
