Introducing Relay: a chatbot that only knows your business

Relay learns your website, your PDFs and your FAQs, answers on your site, WhatsApp and Slack, and attaches the source to every answer it gives.

Relay is the second product from Simplifying AI, and it answers a different question from ChatPlotDB. ChatPlotDB is for the people inside your company asking about your data. Relay is for the people outside it asking about your business.

Grounded, and it shows its work

You point Relay at your website and it crawls it. You upload the PDFs and the FAQs that never made it onto the site. That corpus is the whole of what it knows, and every answer arrives with the source it came from attached — so a customer can check it, and so can you when it gets something wrong.

The failure mode we care about is not a bot that says “I don't know”. It is a bot that invents a returns policy. Grounding it in your own content and showing the source is how you find that out in the first hour rather than the first complaint.

Where it answers

A widget behind one script tag on your own site, scoped to the domains you allow. WhatsApp and Slack are live today. The same bot, the same corpus, and the same conversation wherever a customer picks it up.

And when it should stop

Every conversation lands in one inbox regardless of the channel it arrived on, and Relay hands off to a person when its confidence drops below the threshold you set — with the transcript attached, so nobody has to ask the customer to start again. It escalates into the helpdesk you already staff rather than asking you to adopt a new one.

Relay is in early access. Tell us about your support operation and we'll show you how it answers on your own content.
